Call it habit, but it’s become clear to me that Devin and Dakota are not getting enough press on here. Well, at four months (almost 5!) that’s gotta change.
Some interesting things have happened over the months since we brought them home from the hospital and introduced them to the world. Most of which, whenever you bring a baby in public, you’re gonna get people looking. They stop and praise, ooo-ing and ahhh-ing. Never in my wildest dream did I realize what the reaction would be when toting twins around.
We aren’t shy about taking all 4 out in public, and Dawn does an unbeatable job at handling all 4 by herself day in and out. So when we’re out, not only does nearly every passing soul do all of the above, but they stop and offer their complete admiration. Most of the time striking up a conversation with a complete stranger. It’s quite flattering to be totally honest. When they find out we have 4 boys under the age of 5, that’s when they usually say something about they’ll start praying for us at night.
The twins spend their nights sleeping in a crib in mom and dad’s room. Most of the nights go very smoothly. They’re incredibly good babies. They have their moments, but given the all the circumstances, they are both exceptionally good.
