July 4th

Written by Justin posted on Jul 8, 2011 in Conor, Kayce, Photos, Summer

This July 4th we kept close to the home base in anticipation the twins would be coming home the next day. Well, they did not get to come home, but we sure did enjoy what may have been our last few activities out as a family.

Later that evening, we ended up sitting right on the beach in Evanston to watch the evenings fireworks. Conor was surprisingly into it and not scared at all for his first show.

Conor spent more time in the sand, but enjoyed the water plenty too.

I don't know what's so special about wearing shades, but Kayce can tell you.

Conor felt the need to throw all the sand toys into the lake (continuously).

Can't remember if Kayce was wrecking or building a castle at this point.
