Well, here we are, another Grimm boy enters preschool!  Conor not only gets to start preschool a whole year early, but he didn’t even have to wait for his 3rd birthday because the class census was low enough to have a 2 year old in it for a few weeks.  He couldn’t have been more excited.  For the past 3 weeks that Kayce has been in school, he said everyday “Where is Daddy and Kayce going?  I wanna go to school!”
He woke up in a great mood.  Smiling a cheeky smile.  I went through my schpeel of rules for him.  Listen to the teachers.  Be nice to your friends.  No hitting.  No biting.  Share all of the toys.  Don’t forget to tell the teachers when you have to go potty.  No yelling at anybody.  I think that about covers it.

Justin had no issues dropping him off.   He went in gladly and got right down to playing.  I picked him up and was talking to the teachers, finding out how he did on his first day, and he was not happy with me.  “I want Daddy, I don’t want you.”  He kept yelling at me and pointing his little finger at me, just basically mad at the world kind of thing.  I was reassured that he did not act this way at all at school, just for me!  Well, I guess I am glad that I get the brunt of the Conor-tude as I am very used to it.  He did this all the way home and then was better with me by the time we got home.

And as far as his second day went, Ms Laurie told me, “he is just so excited to be at school”!  And even better, he wasn’t mad at me today!  Quite the opposite actually.   He must have come up to me, kissed me, and told me he loved me about 100 times since we’ve been home (no Agema exaggeration there!)  Even Kayce asked me why he keeps saying that :)

So glad it went well, attitude and all! We really need to get Jackson and Conor together, they are like two peas in a pod with their “agema attitude’! Sweet little guys with attitude! :)
